I bought this because of all the hype and felt kind of let down. If something is being pushed as super spicy, I feel like it should actually bring some heat. This was more like chili oil with a tiny little tingle, not the real kick I was expecting. I ended up adding my own chili flakes just to make it taste spicy. For the price, it didn’t feel worth it to me, and I don’t think I’d buy it again.

Liked the sweetness here. Not too much, not bland either. Some of the sauces still felt a tiny bit sweet for me, but overall really good with noodles and dumplings.

I wanted to like this more, but the ingredients just weren’t as good as I expected. The taste was a little flat and kind of oily to me, and the label didn’t feel as clean as I was hoping. It’s not terrible, so I’ll probably finish it, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to buy it again

I picked up a couple of sauces from Fly By Jing, and yeah, they’ve ended up being way more useful than I expected. I figured I’d just throw them on noodles, but they’ve kind of become one of those things I grab when food tastes boring.

I’ve put it on noodles, fried eggs, rice bowls, dumplings, all that stuff. I’ve even mixed it into mayo for sandwiches, which sounds a little random, but it works. Basically, if I don’t feel like properly cooking, I just add a spoonful and the meal feels like it has more going on.

I’m taking one star off because the jars are kind of pricey for the size, not gonna lie. But even with that, I’ll probably buy it again because it makes random thrown-together meals taste better really fast.

I was sorta let down by my order this time. It just didn’t meet what I was expecting, i don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

The site looks nice and the food is good, but the checkout process was annoying. It kept lagging, like really lagging, and then my cart reset once which was super frustrating. I also didn’t like that the shipping info wasn’t clear until the very end. Just felt like I kept running into little issues over and over. I’d buy again for the food, but the actual buying part needs work.

I had a question about my order, so I sent them an email not expecting a whole lot, since sometimes you just end up waiting forever or getting some generic response that doesn’t really help. But they replied quickly, which was a nice surprise, and the person who got back to me explained everything clearly instead of making it confusing. They were able to sort out the issue without turning it into a big back-and-forth, and I appreciated that. It did take about one day longer than I was hoping for, so it wasn’t absolutely perfect, but overall I’d still say the customer service was good and I felt like they actually paid attention to my problem

I was hoping for a richer umami taste, but it ended up feeling flat to me. Kind of regret grabbing this one because it just didn’t have the depth I expected.

I’ll give it credit, it does taste really good and I’ve been enjoying it. But for the price, the jars felt a lot smaller than I was expecting. If you use it regularly, it disappears quickly, which almost makes me wonder if that’s kind of the point so you end up buying more sooner. Not a bad product at all, I just wish the portion size felt a little more fair.

I reached out to support, but it took a while to get anywhere, and the whole thing was just frustrating. I was really looking forward to trying everything, so it was a letdown. i don’t think I’ll order again...

I’ve been happy with my chili crisp subscription so far. Most of my orders have shown up on time, and I really appreciate that it’s easy to skip a shipment if I don’t need more yet. My only hesitation is the shipping updates can be a little slow, which makes me slightly nervous since I like knowing where my order is and when it’s actually coming. Overall, it’s a solid subscription—I’d just feel better with more reliable tracking communication.

The jar leaked all over the place and the box showed up completely soggy. this is getting old because it feels like the same packaging problem keeps happening again.
